who we are - DEVA logo and colours
The word ‘DEVA’ is derived from the Sanskrit root of ‘div’ meaning ‘to shine’ or ‘become bright’. A DEVA can thus be interpreted as ‘a shining one’. However, we prefer another interpretation of it as representing ‘creative intelligence’ or ‘spirit’. We would like to think that our work with individuals, teams and organisations encourages the awakening of latent creativity and supports it, wherever it can be found, so that people give the best of themselves to produce optimal outcomes.
Our logo represents the joining of the members of DEVA (the turquoise D), with individuals, teams and organisations (the violet pips), to form a partnership for transformation. We do not believe that one can work without the other in harmony.

The colours turquoise and violet are traditionally associated with communication and transformation respectively.
