how we do it - The Colour Spectrum:

The Colour Spectrum is a model which is designed to use all the different styles of creativity in the team and is intended to be worked through from left to right. The component parts are equally useful, in the appropriate circumstances. The colours are important. They represent blue sky thinking, red for let’s stop and think about this, and green for goal selection and action. The different creative styles of the individuals in the team will match different parts of the model.
The team works through:
- Analysing the problem
- Setting goal states
- Setting criteria
- Generating ideas
- Selection of ideas
- Implementation/action
using specialised techniques which suit different styles of creativity.
